I finished my first R A M B O Y cover. I’m glad I got to use more of photoshop this time. I almost forgot how much I love to paint there — I based it on Rocky’s cover except I don’t want the cover to be on portrait.
I’m a fan of the work created by Luzinterruptus, so was happy to see a new work called Lluvia interactiva/Rain Interactive. In keeping with a water theme, this installation was made with condoms and coloured water, to form these highly tactile giant water droplets.
Photo Hack Day is when photo fans/developers get together for 24 hours and figure out how to hack the planet, or rather how to manipulate APIs to do cool photo stuff!
We picked some of our favorites from the day:
Snapcat - A game of ‘catch’ that snaps a photo of your cat every time it paws your screen.
Ambeer - An app that analyzes your photos and turns the dominant colors into a pretty light show.
Pickle - A Chrome extension that translates words in other languages by showing you photos of that word.
